La fa\u00e7ade solaire constitue une solution innovante \u00e0 ces probl\u00e9matiques. Elle conf\u00e8re au b\u00e2timent une esth\u00e9tique moderne et attrayante tout en produisant efficacement de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 solaire. Dans cet article, nous expliquons ce qui caract\u00e9rise les fa\u00e7ades solaires, quels types existent et pour qui elles sont particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressantes en Suisse.    <\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"definition_solaranlagen\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019une fa\u00e7ade PV ?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p>Une fa\u00e7ade solaire, \u00e9galement appel\u00e9e fa\u00e7ade photovolta\u00efque (PV), est une installation solaire mont\u00e9e verticalement sur l\u2019enveloppe du b\u00e2timent. Contrairement aux installations traditionnelles en toiture, les modules photovolta\u00efques sont directement int\u00e9gr\u00e9s \u00e0 la fa\u00e7ade ou fix\u00e9s en applique devant celle-ci.<br\/>Les fa\u00e7ades solaires constituent une solution particuli\u00e8rement pratique lorsqu\u2019une installation en toiture n\u2019est pas envisageable, par exemple en cas de structure porteuse inadapt\u00e9e, de b\u00e2timent class\u00e9 au titre du patrimoine ou d\u2019immeuble collectif disposant d\u2019une surface de toit limit\u00e9e.  <\/p>\n\n<p>L\u2019orientation verticale pr\u00e9sente un effet secondaire int\u00e9ressant : alors que les installations sur toiture sont surtout les plus productives autour de midi, les installations en fa\u00e7ade g\u00e9n\u00e8rent des rendements significatifs notamment le matin et en fin de journ\u00e9e, ainsi qu\u2019en hiver lorsque le soleil est bas sur l\u2019horizon.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong>Quels types de fa\u00e7ades solaires existe-t-il ?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>En principe, on distingue deux principaux types de fa\u00e7ades solaires :<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Fa\u00e7ades solaires int\u00e9gr\u00e9es :<\/strong> dans ce type de conception, les modules photovolta\u00efques remplacent des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de la fa\u00e7ade traditionnelle. Les modules PV ne se contentent pas de produire de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, ils assument \u00e9galement des fonctions de physique du b\u00e2timent telles que la protection contre les intemp\u00e9ries, l\u2019isolation thermique et l\u2019isolation acoustique. Cette solution est particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e sur le plan architectural, car les modules s\u2019int\u00e8grent de mani\u00e8re harmonieuse et continue \u00e0 l\u2019enveloppe du b\u00e2timent. Les syst\u00e8mes int\u00e9gr\u00e9s sont fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9s dans les nouvelles constructions ou dans le cadre de r\u00e9novations compl\u00e8tes.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Fa\u00e7ades ventil\u00e9es avec installation solaire : <\/strong>dans ce cas, les modules solaires sont mont\u00e9s devant la fa\u00e7ade existante, en laissant un espace d\u2019air entre la fa\u00e7ade et les modules. Cette ventilation arri\u00e8re permet un meilleur refroidissement des modules, ce qui am\u00e9liore leur rendement, les panneaux photovolta\u00efques fonctionnant plus efficacement \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus basses. Cette variante est particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la r\u00e9novation et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipement ult\u00e9rieur de b\u00e2timents existants et s\u2019av\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus \u00e9conomique que les syst\u00e8mes enti\u00e8rement int\u00e9gr\u00e9s.  <\/p>\n\n<p>En outre, il existe diff\u00e9rents types de modules : des modules cristallins classiques aux modules \u00e0 couches minces, en passant par des modules sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7us, disponibles dans diverses couleurs, degr\u00e9s de transparence et structures de surface, permettant de cr\u00e9er des accents esth\u00e9tiques cibl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quels sont les avantages d\u2019une fa\u00e7ade solaire ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Les avantages d\u2019une fa\u00e7ade solaire d\u00e9pendent fortement des conditions propres \u00e0 chaque b\u00e2timent, mais ils offrent dans de nombreux cas des arguments convaincants :<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Production d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en hiver :<\/strong> gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur orientation verticale, les fa\u00e7ades solaires tirent particuli\u00e8rement profit d\u2019un ensoleillement bas. Durant les mois d\u2019hiver, lorsque la neige peut recouvrir les installations sur toiture, les syst\u00e8mes en fa\u00e7ade continuent \u00e0 produire de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re fiable. <\/p>\n\n<p>Surface suppl\u00e9mentaire pour l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire : les fa\u00e7ades solaires permettent d\u2019exploiter des surfaces qui resteraient autrement inutilis\u00e9es. Cela est particuli\u00e8rement pertinent pour les immeubles collectifs, les b\u00e2timents commerciaux ou les immeubles de grande hauteur, o\u00f9 la surface de toiture ne suffit souvent pas \u00e0 couvrir l\u2019ensemble des besoins en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Conception architecturale :<\/strong> les modules solaires modernes pour fa\u00e7ades sont disponibles dans diff\u00e9rentes couleurs, niveaux de transparence et textures de surface. Ils peuvent valoriser visuellement le b\u00e2timent et v\u00e9hiculer une image moderne et durable. Les modules color\u00e9s ou partiellement transparents sont particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de concepts cr\u00e9atifs.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Aucune contrainte de statique :<\/strong> pour les b\u00e2timents dont la toiture ne supporte pas suffisamment de charge, les installations en fa\u00e7ade constituent une alternative, la charge \u00e9tant r\u00e9partie sur l\u2019enveloppe verticale du b\u00e2timent.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Soutien financier attractif :<\/strong> la subvention accord\u00e9e par Pronovo est particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressante. Les fa\u00e7ades solaires sont non seulement \u00e9ligibles \u00e0 la r\u00e9tribution unique pour les installations photovolta\u00efques, mais une nouveaut\u00e9 entrera en vigueur d\u00e8s 2026 : un bonus hivernal sera accord\u00e9 aux installations qui produisent plus de 500 kWh par kW de puissance install\u00e9e durant le semestre d\u2019hiver. Cette r\u00e9glementation s\u2019applique aux installations d\u2019une puissance \u00e9gale ou sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 100 kW.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quels sont les inconv\u00e9nients d\u2019une fa\u00e7ade solaire ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 tout l\u2019enthousiasme pour les fa\u00e7ades solaires, certaines contraintes ne doivent pas \u00eatre n\u00e9glig\u00e9es :<br\/><br\/><strong>Co\u00fbts d\u2019investissement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s : <\/strong>une fa\u00e7ade solaire n\u00e9cessite g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des modules et des syst\u00e8mes de fixation sp\u00e9cifiques, plus co\u00fbteux que les composants standard utilis\u00e9s pour les installations sur toiture. Les co\u00fbts de montage et l\u2019effort d\u2019installation sont \u00e9galement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s que pour des installations photovolta\u00efques classiques sur toit. Cela est particuli\u00e8rement vrai pour les syst\u00e8mes ventil\u00e9s install\u00e9s a posteriori, dont le co\u00fbt peut d\u00e9passer sensiblement celui d\u2019une installation \u00e9quivalente sur toiture.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Rendement par module plus faible :<\/strong> en raison de l\u2019orientation verticale, le rendement annuel par m\u00e8tre carr\u00e9 install\u00e9 est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui d\u2019une installation sur toiture id\u00e9alement orient\u00e9e. Selon l\u2019orientation (sud, est, ouest), une fa\u00e7ade solaire atteint environ 60 \u00e0 80 pour cent du rendement d\u2019une installation sur toiture orient\u00e9e au sud avec une inclinaison optimale. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Planification plus complexe :<\/strong> l\u2019int\u00e9gration de modules solaires dans la fa\u00e7ade n\u00e9cessite une planification soign\u00e9e, tenant compte de la physique du b\u00e2timent, de la protection contre l\u2019incendie, de la statique et des exigences architecturales. Cela peut accro\u00eetre la charge de travail li\u00e9e \u00e0 la conception. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pour qui une fa\u00e7ade solaire est-elle rentable ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Les fa\u00e7ades solaires sont particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressantes pour les immeubles collectifs, les b\u00e2timents commerciaux, les b\u00e2timents publics et les immeubles de grande hauteur, lorsque la surface de toiture est limit\u00e9e. Elles constituent \u00e9galement une alternative pratique pour les b\u00e2timents class\u00e9s ou prot\u00e9g\u00e9s, o\u00f9 l\u2019installation de panneaux sur le toit n\u2019est pas autoris\u00e9e, ou pour les b\u00e2timents dont la toiture n\u2019est pas adapt\u00e9e sur le plan statique.
